Our Customers

The majority of the natural gas transported by the DBNGP is consumed by industry. However, the pipeline’s critical role in WA’s energy security extends to the services provided to electricity generators and gas retailers. We have a diverse range of customers across the State that include major industrial users such as Alcoa and BHP Billiton generators such as Synergy and Alinta in addition to many other industrial and commercial customers.

We also supply gas into the local retail market for the Perth metropolitan area. Of the gas we transport about 21% is used in Power Generation, 30% in minerals, 12% in chemical and gas processing, 4% in retail gas and 24% in mining.
